I really enjoyed staying in this property and its peaceful and perfect location.

The hotel was located not far from very nice church and nice village houses as well as the Roermond center. Had well-equipped, silent room with a view on the restaurant's summer garden full of tabela, bathrooms, as for instance.

The staff here were super friendly, the room was spotless, and you even get a view of the restaurant's cozy summer garden with tons of colorful flowers 🌼.

The hotel is conveniently located near Roermond designer outlet, just 3km away. The historical building turned hotel is stunning and the rooms are immaculately clean. The surrounding neighborhood offers picturesque walks to a charming church and lovely village houses. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. The parking space is fantastic, right at the hotel. Plus, there are many facilities available including free Wi-Fi, convenient luggage storage, a cozy bar/lounge area, and a restaurant. The helpfulness of the staff is commendable, as they even prepared a hot meal for me when I arrived late. Whether traveling alone or as a family, this hotel has everything you need for a fantastic stay. The breakfast is basic but nice, and there is a friendly local bar/restaurant just a 2-minute walk away. a positively amazing experience!

The rooms at Hotel de Abdij are simply furnished, which gives them a cozy and homey feel that I love. I really enjoyed the seating area in some rooms where I could relax and unwind after a long day of work. The private bathroom in each room was definitely a plus for me, providing convenience and privacy.

Personally, I wasn't a fan of the basic bathroom setup with a bath or shower, washstand, and toilet.

The decor reminded me of the old abbey houses you see in movies, with the cozy reading room and conference room being a delightful surprise. As a senior woman, I also appreciated the hotel's accessibility, with the rooms and common areas being easy to navigate.

The only thing I would have asked for as a senior traveler is a laundry facility. It would have been convenient to have a washing machine and drying machine available for use.
